WesTrac is one of the largest employers and trainers of apprentices in the country with over 300 apprentices employed at any one time.
WesTrac has identified the need for specialists in its Perth metro area, therefore will offers traineeships in the areas of Component Overhauling and Machine Assembly.
Our traineeship programmes are of 2 years duration and structured around nationally recognised training qualifications.
WesTrac offer the following traineeships:
- Engine Specialist: Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical
- Final Drive Specialist: Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical
- Vehicle Assembly: Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical
- Transmission Specialist: Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical, or
- Hydraulic Cylinders/Pumps Specialist: Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical.
Our Traineeship program is a full time employment based training program where you will gain specialised hands-on skills and experience, which will help improve your employment prospects within the industry.
Competition for our traineeship programme is extremely high, so to ensure you have the best chance of securing one of these career opportunities, you should carefully consider the trade stream that you are most interested in.
