Headline Guidelines

Our headlines are designed to get impact with our audience and to ensure our messages get through. Every headline is written differently so it is important to maintain consistency. Headlines must adhere to the following usage rules:

  • Always bold, the use of any other weight is not permitted
  • Always capital letters
  • Always short and to the point (generally 10 words or less)
  • Always punchy and positive words
  • Always an approved colour (WesTrac Yellow, Black or White)
  • Must include proper spacing and line breaks big enough to make the text easy to read at a glance
  • Can include varying point sizes, but the smallest text should never be less than 25% of the biggest text and the point size must remain the same size on a single line
  • The preferred font type is Univers 67
  • Other font types that can be used include Univers 57, Arial Narrow and Knockout
