Yellow Band & Bar
YELLOW BAND
Our yellow band is taken from our colour palette and is used to create a powerful first impression. It can be used on any design asset, where appropriate, but is most commonly used on retail materials.
- Always left side of the asset
- Always vertical
- Does not always have to span top to bottom, i.e. if the band is being used to highlight a heading, it only needs to span the height of the heading
- Always WesTrac Yellow or the WesTrac Yellow Gradient
- When the band is used on the very left side of the asset, going from top to bottom, the width must be 1/14th the asset
YELLOW BAR
Our yellow bar is taken from our colour palette and is most often used to breakup (split) assets with multiple pieces of content. It can be used on any design asset, where appropriate, but is most commonly used on printed materials and web landing pages.
- Always horizontal
- Always WesTrac Yellow or the WesTrac Yellow Gradient
- Does not have to span left to right, i.e. you can create a small bar that is center aligned
- There are no rules relating to height, but the bar is typically thin when it isn't a heading and thick when it is a heading
- Can be enhanced with a small icon in the middle, such as a plus symbol
When the yellow bar is used as a heading it is thick and contains text that is either white or black. Example below:
