Onboarding is an overall introduction to the WesTrac S·O·S program and the systems and processes it utilises.
With this package, you’ll have access to online tutorial modules designed to give you and your team a basic overview of the S·O·S program. These modules include topics such as:
- How to Take A Good Fluid Sample
- How to Log into S·O·S Web
- How to Create Sample Cards
- How to Review Sample Results
- How to Maintain Your Fleet List
- How to Record Maintenance and Actions
This package also includes a monthly onboarding webinar.
Outcomes and Benefits
Upon completing S·O·S Onboarding, you’ll have the basic skills to take a good fluid sample and an understanding of the S·O·S system functionality. With 24 hours a day, all year round complimentary access to our online tutorials, you’ll benefit from a consistent frame of reference for best S·O·S practices. This structured approach to S·O·S and fluid sampling will allow you and your team to follow along and learn at your own pace.

Bronze – Basic Support 
Our Bronze support package takes it up a notch with dedicated WesTrac support. If you’re not sure what support package you need, this is the package that’ll point you in the right direction.
Utilising a personal support model that is delivered remotely by the WesTrac S·O·S support team, this package includes:
- Unlimited defect support
- 10-hours (per year) of non-defect support
- Quarterly 45-minute support meeting

With additional support for more complex queries including dedicated time to help you work through non-system issues, our Bronze package aims to get you progressing towards using best S·O·S practices. In addition, with regular scheduled quarterly support meetings, you can be assured that WesTrac will be there to support you in getting the most out of your S·O·S experience.

Silver – Intermediate Training 
Our Silver support package has two options available.
Training A
Training A is delivered at WesTrac South Guildford and is designed to help you get the most value out of your S·O·S practices.
With this package, you’ll have the WesTrac S·O·S support team remotely provide you with:
- Unlimited defect support
- 10-hours (per year) of non-defect support
- Monthly 30-minute support meeting
- Annual S·O·S performance report with recommendations for your site
Alongside remote support, your team will also receive the below training, all delivered at WesTrac South Guildford:
- WesTrac S·O·S Sampling and Fluid Analysis training course: 1-day training course for one group (max 10 people)
- Annual tour of the S·O·S Laboratory for one group (max 10 people)
Training B
Based at an intermediate level, this package is delivered at your site and combines theoretical training with practical application and mentoring.
With this package, you’ll have the WesTrac S·O·S support team remotely provide you with:
- Unlimited defect support
- 10-hours (per year) of non-defect support
- Monthly 30-minute support meeting
- Annual S·O·S performance report with recommendations for your site
You’ll also receive the below support, all delivered at your site, giving your team site-specific training and mentoring.

- 1-day mentoring on oil sampling and contamination control practices

- 1-day mentoring on oil sampling and contamination control practices
- Site Conformance Audit with report and recommendations for your site

With our Gold support, you’ll get an in-depth gap analysis and site-specific recommendation for improvement with a comprehensive in-person audit of your S·O·S practices at your site.
