If your machine qualifies as Cat Certified or Dealer Certified Used it will maximise your trade-in offer.

To qualify for Cat Certified Used (CCU) your machine must:

• Be under 4 years old for compact machines and 7 years old for others
• Have low hours: up to 2,500 hours for compact machines and from 4,500 hours for others
• Have a Caterpillar warranty: Powertrain and Hydraulics for 6 to 24 months

To qualify for Dealer Certified Used (DCU) you machine must:

• Be under 10 years old
• Have reasonable hours: up to 6,000 hours for compact machines and 10,000 hours for others
• Have a Caterpillar warranty: Powertrain and Hydraulics for 3 to 12 months
