More power, greater comfort and more lift

The NEW Cat 255 and 265 Compact Track Loaders (CTL)

Fresh on the scene are the brand-new Cat 255 and 265 CTLs. Offering further improvements on their predecessors the Cat 259D3 and 289D3 CTLs, these new machines offer more performance, more power and better operator comfort.

The new 255 and 265 loaders are powered by Cat C2.8T and Cat C2.8TA engines respectively, which offer 74.3 hp (55.4 kW). The new engines maintain horsepower across a wider RPM range and boast significant torque increases – gains of 13% for the 255 and 43% for the 265 – for improved working performance.

The new 255 loader delivers class-leading lift height, delivering 36% more tilt breakout, 26% higher lift breakout force and a 24% increase in rated operating capacity (ROC). Height to the B-pin for the 265 increases by 7.6 in (193 mm). The 265 also delivers 19% higher tilt breakout force and 22% higher lift breakout force.

Adding flexibility by design, the versatile Cat SWL offers industry-specific configurations to handle agriculture, forestry, aggregate, and sugarcane applications efficiently.

The new cab design has incorporated automotive styling and amenities. The operating position elevates operator comfort and improves visibility to increase safety. Visibility has been enhanced with smaller cab pillars, increased window area and more advanced mirrors. The multi-view camera also delivers a birds-eye view around the loader.

Now featuring the new touchscreen display monitor the in-cab display delivers an easy view of operating parameters. You can set up 50 different operating profiles through the display

Cat Central integrates with the QR code on your equipment; giving you the ability to scan and shop for your asset from anywhere, as well as find answers to repair and maintenance questions. In case you haven’t heard, every new piece of Cat construction machinery will now feature a custom QR code which, when scanned, will direct you straight to the relevant parts and support information on the Cat Central app, using the guaranteed fit finder.
