Since 2016, The National Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo (DD&T) has been Australia’s largest construction industry expo and a must-see event for people in the earthmoving industry.
This huge family-friendly event spans three days and gives the general public a chance to see the amazing technology and innovation driving the national construction industry. Once again, if you attend this year, you’ll be able to get up close and personal with all the latest Cat® equipment.
DD&T has seen massive growth since its inception, going from having 33,000 attendees in 2016 to over 110,00 in 2023.
In 2024, DD&T will once again being held at the Sydney Dragway (Ferrers Road, Eastern Creek) on April 12-14, from 9:30am to 5pm on Friday and Saturday, and 10am to 3pm on Sunday.
There is a general admission fee for adults, while kids are free. You can purchase tickets here.

Something big is happening at Site U10 this year with the unveiling of a brand-new Cat Compact Track Loader!
Join us at 11:00am on Friday 12 April 2024 at Site U10 for the official unveiling of this new model. Caterpillar® Product Specialist Rohan Mills will be giving us the full rundown of this new machine, its industry-first features and more.
But that’s not all, we’ll be running daily machine walkarounds over the weekend. There’ll be plenty of time to jump inside of the cab and get a feel for the latest Cat compact loader.

While our display is designed to showcase Cat equipment, its other purpose is to inspire you (and your children) to explore exciting career options and opportunities in the construction industry and at WesTrac.
Just like in previous years, we'll have a fun experience for the older Cat kids and adults!
In 2024, our Kids Dig Pit will be taking on a brand new format - this year kids (aged 8 and over) and adults will be given the chance to remotely control a toy 1:16 scale model Cat 320 Excavator valued at $811.95 and navigate it around a mini construction site.
Every person who lines up for the experience will be given a job to complete (just like a real earthmover) within an allocated time frame and, at the end of DD&T, we'll be awarding a major prize to the fastest time.
The challenge will involve you using the RC Excavator with Grapple attachment to move a LEGO log and a ball into place, as fast as you can. You'll have one minute to learn the controls and two minutes maximum to get the job done.
