The Technology Experience Centre (TXC) is a state-of-the-art education and training facility at WesTrac's New South Wales Head Office in Tomago. The TXC allows WesTrac customers to gain hands-on experience with the latest Cat® technologies used in mining and construction.
To gain hands-on experience with the latest Cat technologies used in mining and construction, all you need to do contact your local WesTrac representative and request a visit to the TXC with your team.
Every visit to the TXC can be customised and tailored to meet your team's requirements and technology needs.
While the TXC allows you to experience a vast array of technologies in person, it is also a purpose-built training facility that can be used to train your team on any Cat technology-based solution you plan to utilise across your site.
As such, the TXC is supported by the WesTrac Training Institute - which offers accredited and post trade training programs, including operator training for the effective operation of Cat equipment using the latest technology systems.
When it comes to training a large team, the TXC delivers a practical and educational experience that ensures your team members walk away feeling confident about using technology to improve safety and productivity outcomes at your operation.
The TXC is open and ready to deliver comprehensive and tailored technology training experiences that are unrivalled in the industry. To organise one for your team, contact us today.

If you decide to utilise a MineStar solution at your site, the TXC can provide your team with personalised training.
Get an up-close and personal look at WesTrac's Industrial Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) technology. As part of the experience, you'll learn about WesTrac's production process, watch parts being printed live and handle a selection of printed parts.
The TXC features a dedicated Remote Operator Station (ROS), where you'll use Cat Command to remotely operate a Cat 320 Next Gen Excavator, located nearby in the on-site WesTrac dig pit. The ROS can also be configured for the remote operation of multiple other Cat machines from Mini Excavators and Skid Steer Loaders to large mining equipment such as Dozers and Drills.
