Caterpillar have been developing the High Performance Circle (HPC) for their current line of motor graders since 2021 with it first introduced on the Cat 24 Motor Grader back in 2023. It’s now available on the 140, 150, and 160 size current generation models.

With a focus on safety, reduced operating costs, and improved performance, HPC provides all this and more over the previous DCM configuration.

Direct customer benefits include, but are not limited to, a significantly longer period of joint rigidity in the circle itself therefore providing consistent grade performance and results, reduction in circle maintenance by up to three times (when compared against) the current design, double service lifetime of the bearing with the (easy) ability to rotate it 180 degrees at the specified service interval.
