Local Communities

To be an engaged and constructive participant in the communities in which we operate.

Aspiration

To be an engaged and constructive participant in the communities in which we operate.

WesTrac has a long history of being an active member in the communities in which it operates through both contributions and participation in community led events.

WesTrac is a proud supporter of many charities, sporting teams, community events and initiatives.

Examples of community initiatives that we either do or have supported:

Towards 2030, WesTrac will continue providing contributions and participate in our local communities with a focus on encouraging opportunities to explore WesTrac facilities and learn about who we are and what we do. We will do this by offering local schools' opportunities to visit our sites and learn about career pathways within the industry, hosting family days on our sites and maintaining our open communication lines with our communities to ensure all voices are heard.

Putting family first

Family Benefits

For us, family is the most important part of the community. For this reason, we strive hard to ensure our employees have a healthy work/life balance and offer many benefits for their family. These benefits include parental leave, additional leave, flexible work arrangements, private health insurance and company funded income protection. We also offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) which provides counselling services to employees and their family.

Family Days

To actively involve the community in what we do, we hold family open days on a regular basis that give people a chance to tour our facilities, see the equipment in action and have a bit of fun. Our family days are always community-focused and run with the participation of a number of charities and local organisations/suppliers.
