Overview

The Cat 395 gets every job done every time. A 10% higher digging force eases bucket penetration to reduce digging cycle time in the most demanding applications. With up to a 15% higher payload and the ability to carry the SD6.5m3 bucket, this mass excavator can load a 70-ton off-road truck in 5-6 passes. For deep trenching work, the 395 digs down deep with maximum digging depths from 7190mm (23’7” ft) up to 11 710 (38’5” ft). The 395 is built for extreme durability with 2x reinforced booms, sticks, upper and lower frames. Reduced hydraulic oil capacity, improved filters with longer service intervals, and an integrated auto-lube-ready system save you up to 20% in maintenance costs. Sustainability

    
• The Cat® C18 engine meets U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final, EU Stage V, Korea Stage V and Japan 2014 emission standards.
    
• Cat diesel engines are required to use ULSD (ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel with 15 ppm of sulfur or less) or ULSD blended with the following lower-carbon intensity fuels** up to: 20% biodiesel FAME (fatty acid methyl ester)* or 100% renewable diesel, HVO (hydrogenated vegetable oil) and GTL (gas-to-liquid) fuels. Refer to guidelines for successful application. Please consult your Cat dealer or “Caterpillar Machine Fluids Recommendations” (SEBU6250) for details.
