In 2020, the WesTrac Port Hedland team delivered two new Cat® 6020B Hydraulic Mining Shovels to the Woodie Woodie manganese ore mine site for customer Consolidated Minerals (ConsMin).
This time lapse video, filmed by Alexis Romero (WesTrac Service Supervisor), chronicles the complex 10-day build of these machines on-site, just before the customer started to put them to work.
These were the first two machines of this class to be delivered to the North West of Australia.
